Refiloe Moutlwatse is a visionary healthcare strategist, biomedical scientist, and entrepreneur with a mission: to transform African healthcare systems into people-centered engines of equity, innovation, and care. With over two decades of experience spanning South Africa’s public hospitals, multinational health corporations, and government advisory boards, Refiloe brings a unique blend of clinical insight, leadership, and grassroots compassion.
Her career has taken her across every continent, allowing her to engage with some of the most respected thought leaders, innovators, and institutions in global health. She has built a powerful network of associates and partners across Africa and the United States, positioning Tiki Healthcare at the intersection of local insight and global standards.
Her journey is deeply rooted in community — in boys raised by single mothers, clinics in need of more than equipment, and health systems that must work not just in theory, but in the lives of real people. Her impact stretches from the laboratory to the boardroom, from underserved townships to international platforms.
As Chairperson of Kalafong Hospital and a member of the Medical Technology Board, Refiloe brings both authority and authenticity to every partnership. She has led government key accounts at Philips and Fresenius Kabi, and as a former clinical pathology scientist at leading public hospitals, she understands health from the ground up.
In founding Tiki Healthcare Services, Refiloe created more than a consultancy — she built a bridge between data and dignity, strategy and soul. Her work solves system-level challenges by combining global experience with local wisdom, ensuring healthcare solutions are not only effective, but sustainable and just.
